All electrical items are fully checked for safety and usability before being sold.
There is no charge for the delivery of the items that you purchase and a delivery date will be arranged for you when you pay for your items in full. Note that we do not give cash refunds - refunds are done via a credit note system. You can spend your credit note in Phoenix.
How do I purchase furniture?
To purchase furniture simply pop into your nearest branch and pick out the items that you would like to buy. Then you will need to fill out a referral form and either place a deposit or pay in full. Unfortunately we are unable to reserve items without a 25% deposit being paid*. Also we are unable to take orders for furniture by telephone or email.
Payments can be made in cash or with a debit card.
* If you are unable to come to the showroom to view an item we will hold it for you for a period of 24 hours to enable you to come and visit us. After this the item will be put back on sale.
When will you deliver my items?
We will deliver items within the area that we cover free of charge. We will only deliver the items that you want when you have paid for them in full. If you have placed a deposit we will hold your items for a short period to enable you to find the rest of the required payment. For a general idea of when we deliver in your area please view the appropriate Schedule.
Note that we are unlikely to deliver on the day of your purchase, but a delivery date will be arranged for you at the time of full payment. We are also unlikely to be able to give you a specific delivery time.
Do I qualify?
Anyone in receipt of any welfare benefits, pension, or on a low income can come and buy items from us. The marked price of furniture is based on this, therefore we do not offer any discounts or reductions in price to anybody.
Referral System
Phoenix is here to assist anybody on welfare benefits or a low income. You can be referred to us by an agency or alternatively you can visit us and we will fill out a self referral form with you when you wish to purchase an item.
